GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. These General Terms and Conditions regulate the relations between DND LTD, UIC 114686158, briefly referred as DND, and Clients concerning the basis of a car rental agreement or other items offered by DND LTD.

A) "General Terms and Conditions" - the current General Terms and Conditions for signing vehicle (car) rental contracts offered by DND.

B) "Individual contract" means a contract for the rental of the vehicle and / or other items (equipment) concluded between DND and the Client. These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of each individual contract. In case of any contradiction between the individual contract and the General Terms and Conditions, the individual contract will have priority.

C) "Customer" - a physical person who wishes to use and / or request and / or enter into a rental agreement for a vehicle or other items offered by DND.

D) "Driver" - a physical person who will drive the rented vehicle. When the driver is a person other than the Client, the relevant data of the driver are recorded in the individual rental agreement. Only one additional driver can be enrolled in the contract. All obligations of the Client under the General Terms and Conditions and the Individual Contract are also considered obligations of the Driver.

E) "International driver's license" - a driving license or other document certifying the right to drive a vehicle, which by virtue of international agreements have entered into force for the Republic of Bulgaria and entitle the Client to drive the vehicle on the territory on the country and on the territory of the respective state, in which the use of the rented vehicle is allowed according to the General conditions

F) "Analogue car class" - a car of the same class, with the same or similar size, the same number of doors and the same number of seats.

H) "Rental price" - the rental price of the respective vehicle for a period of 24 hours, which is specified in the Price List of DND or announced on the website of DND EOOD, or specified in the rental agreement;

I) “Fee” - an additional amount, different from the rental price, which is paid by the Client for providing additional service or performing additional actions by DND according to the General Terms and Conditions, the individual contract and the Price List.

J) Price list - list of additional services provided by DND, indicating the prices / fees for them.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLIENT AND NEEDED DOCUMENTS

4. The client must own and present to DND a driving license for the respective category, valid for a period of not less than one month after the end of the car rental period, a control coupon (for Bulgarian citizens) and a functioning credit card - with a free (unused) limit not less than the amount of the deposit valid, not earlier than six months after the end of the rental period. Drivers who are nationals of a country outside the European Union must present an international driving license with the same period of validity.

5. The client is obliged to present identity documents (identity card or passport) with a minimum validity of not less than one month after the end of the car rental period.

6. DND reserves the right to refuse a reservation or providing of the car in case any of the documents submitted by the Client do not meet the requirements of the General Terms and Conditions or is damaged / invalid.

2. Our attitude towards your personal data

DND EOOD gives great importance to the protection of personal data and collects and processes personal data only in compliance with the requirements of local and European legislation. The purpose of this "Privacy Policy" is to be informed how we process your data and what personal data we would collect for you, for what purpose, and respectively what are your rights.

In most cases, we require your personal data for the purpose of concluding a contract, to comply with a legal obligation or to protect our legitimate interest. Without it, we would not be able to make a reservation or make you an offer. If you do not provide us with identification data, we will not be able to enter into a car rental agreement with you. Depending on the services you use, we may collect and process the following information about you:

General data to individualize you

• The three names, unique civil number, personal number or date of birth of a foreigner

• Passport or ID card details;

• Data from a driving license;

• Permanent address, as well as address of residence on the territory of the country, if you are a foreigner;

• Contact details - telephone number and e-mail address (email);

• When registering on our site - names, email address, password; •Letters and e-mails that we receive from you during our communication;

• Credit / debit card details as well as other bank details;

• GPS tracking of rented cars;

• Video recordings when you visit our car rental offices, service stations or car parks for security and safety purposes.

 

Personal data you provide to us about others persons

You can add someone as an additional driver or make a reservation on behalf of another person. In such cases, you must ensure that this person is informed that his or her data is provided to us and that he or she is aware of our Privacy Policy. This is your responsibility.

4. For what purpose do we process your data?

A. Car reservation

We primarily use your personal data to make and administer your reservation and for the rental agreement.

B Creation of an account

When creating an account in our platform, you can manage your reservations and manage your personal settings and preferences. It also makes easier future bookings.

C. Protection of a legal interest

In some cases we may need to use your personal data in the protection and resolution of litigation, regulatory inspections, appeals against slips and acts of the Traffic Police and others.

 

5. On what legal grounds do we process your data?

We process the personal data we collect most often for the following purposes and legal grounds:

A. Processing of the data necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract

• Establishing the identity of the client;

• Making a reservation for a car;

• Preparation of offers, contracts and all other documents accompanying the contract. Management and execution of your orders;

• Preparation of accounting documents such as invoice or bill

• Notices related to our products and services.

B. Processing the data necessary to fulfill our regulatory obligation

• Fulfillment of obligations in connection with the rules of the traffic law;

• Obligations provided for in the Accounting Act and the Tax and Social Security Procedure Code and other related regulations in connection with the maintenance of proper and lawful accounting;

• Obligations to provide information to all state commissions and regulatory institutions;

6. Security

DND EOOD takes measures to protect your personal data from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, change or disclosure. There are policies and procedures designed to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorized disclosure. In addition, we take additional information security measures, including access control, strict physical protection and reliable practices for collecting, storing and processing information.

On the other hand, we apply technical measures such as encryption, pseudonymization and anonymization of the collected personal data.

 

7. Changes in this Privacy Policy

This procedure for the protection of personal information may be changed over time. Such changes will take effect immediately after their announcement. Regular review of this page guarantees that you will always be aware of what information we collect, how and for what purposes DND Ltd. uses it and under what circumstances (if any) we will share it with other countries.
